Have your say: Voortrekker Road Corridor upgrades
The City of Cape Town is inviting residents and interested parties to comment on proposed upgrades to the Voortrekker Road Corridor in Maitland, between Fourth Avenue and Camp Road.
The project includes:
• Widening Voortrekker Road between Fourth Avenue and Station Road
• Widening Koeberg Road between Voortrekker Road and Basson Street
• Realigning Camp Road with Voortrekker Road
• Realigning Sydow Street with Camp Road and Perth Street
The public participation process runs from 15 September to 16 October 2026.
Public Information Days
Residents are invited to attend one of the following sessions:
📍 Maitland Town Hall, Voortrekker Road
• Thursday, 17 September | 17:00–20:00
• Tuesday, 22 September | 17:00–20:00
📍 Kensington Community Hall, Factreton Avenue
• Wednesday, 7 October | 17:00–20:00
• Saturday, 10 October | 09:00–12:00
